Pigeon Toe

Pigeon toe is a condition in which the toes of the feet point inward while walking, and is most commonly seen in young children, although adult pigeon toe is possible.

The condition generally does not cause serious problems, but a small percentage of those with pigeon toe will experience problems with the bones in the leg. Regardless, pigeon toe can make its sufferers struggle to find properly-fitting footwear. Pigeon toe sufferers often benefit from custom orthotics.

Dr. Jackson will assess the problem to determine what the cause of the pigeon toe is as well as what the best course of treatment will be. In some cases, surgery is necessary to fully correct this condition.
